Biography
Yaé Ulrich Gaba completed his doctoral studies at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa and is currently an Assistant Professor at Institut de Mathematiques et de Sciences Physiques (IMSP) in Benin Rep. He earned MSc in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Nigeria and his BSc. Honors in Pure Mathematics from the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in Benin Rep.
His research interests lie in two main areas, firstly asymmetric topology with applications in Functional Analysis, computability analysis and also some Fixed Point Theory, and secondly Stochastic Analysis with applications in finance. Before joining IMSP, Dr Gaba was a postdoctoral researcher in the school of mathematical and statistical sciences at the North-West University, South Africa. He also serves the scientific community as a reviewer.
