Biography

Hugues Martial Omanda is a physics teacher at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Libreville in Gabon since 2004. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science at the Polytechnic School of the University of Nantes in France, in 2002. He held the position of Head of Science Department from 2007 to 2010 and that of Director of Research and training since 2010 to date. His research focuses on the study of the physicochemical properties of materials with applications to energy conversion. He is also interested in theoretical physics by studying nonlinear phenomena using analytical and numerical methods.
